The following is a recap of Dr. Jack Graham from session #3 at C3.

1. You stay in the ministry because you are called. It’s not easy to stay in the ministry.

2. You will find out if you’re humble or not based on how you act when people treat you like a servant.

3. It’s impossible to be effective in your ministry without tears. You need a brokenness before the Lord and for the people He died to save.

4. If you haven’t experienced brokenness you probably aren’t very effective in the ministry. How can you comfort those whose lives are hanging by a thread if you’ve never been there?

5. If you don’t want to be criticized, say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing.

6. Sometimes what is trendy turns out to be a tangent and not the truth. The Word of God, Jesus Christ, is the Truth and is unchanging.

7. The way you stay in ministry is you just keep showing up in the power of the Holy Spirit, not your power.

8. You don’t achieve ministry from God, you receive ministry from God.

9. I pray those of you who are just starting in the ministry finish in ministry. Don’t become a statistic. Take care of yourself. Keep your head in the Book, your knees on the floor in prayer, and your eyes on The Lord.
